In Sierra Leone, Global Action for Sustainable Development (GASD-SL) works to strengthen policies and programs that support the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals through the promotion of gender equality, good health, Clean Water & Sanitation, quality education, and peacebuilding.
EDUCATION
This program is in support of SDG # 4 (Quality Education) aimed at providing access to equality education for Sierra Leonean children with a focus on girls, orphans, and children affected by conflict in school through scholarships and after-school/ vacation programs.

CLEAN WATER & SANITATION
GASD-SL WASH Program is in support of SDGs # 6 geared toward minimizing water sanitation and hygiene-related challenges by increasing access to safe water supply, fostering proper sanitation facilities, and promoting proper hygienic practices. GASD-SL is a member of the Youth WASH Coalition Africa.
